Email Filtering > Mail Portal
  • The Network Box can be configured to send daily email reports to some/all users, summarizing all previous day emails by:
    • Ham (valid emails)
    • Spam (unwanted emails)
    • Malware or policy blocks (viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.)

  • Users can click on links in the report to access the Mail Portal, from where they can see their own email statistics (a subset of the entire box):
    • They can release quarantined emails (but not emails containing known viruses)
    • They can request whitelisting/blacklisting of senders or entire domains

  • This system allows the administrator to delegate responsibility to the users, and to put users in control of their own email.
A user will be able to access his/her own page starting from the report, or the administrator can create Mail Portal accounts for individual users.

Mail Portal GUI Example can be seen below:

The Network Box anti-virus email gateway is kept up-to-date with the very latest anti-virus signatures around the clock. An out of date network security system is a vulnerable network security system.
