IPv6
IPv6 has arrived. Is your network ready to handle it?
IANA (or the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) has declared that IPv4 addresses have officially run out. What this means is that now, your systems must be prepared to handle addresses using the new IPv6 protocol.
Network Box USA offers a peace of mind no one else can guarantee. We provide seamless translation between the two protocols, so you can start using IPv6, smoothly and efficiently, without making any changes to your network.
We are very proud to be the first, and so far only, provider of Managed Security Services, to have had its proprietary managed security services delivery platform attain IPv6 Ready Core Phase-2 Certification (IPv6 Ready ID number is 02-C-000779). In fact, our cutting-edge NBRS Ver5.0 OS is designed to assist our customers with their migration to IPv6, and not merely to act as an IPv6 device on the network.
One of the new modules built into the NBRS Ver5.0 OS is an Input Translation module which undertakes the Internet’s migration from IPv4 to IPv6 by providing cutting-edge IPv4-to-IPv6 bridging. As with some other UTM solutions, the NBRS Ver5.0 implements a dual-stack solution to address the migration, providing network stacks and support for IPv4 and IPv6, but that’s where the similarity ends.
The NBRS Ver5.0 enlists router-level technologies as well as high-level proxies and services to perform bi-directional translations between all combinations of IPv4 and IPv6. This enables IPv4 clients to seamlessly connect to IPv6 servers and IPv6 clients to IPv4 servers, resulting is a network architecture suited for the present and future.
IPv6 Ready is an internationally recognized certification awarded to vendor products after they undergo a comprehensive set of tests which measure the compliance of the products' IPv6 networking stack against constructs; features; and behaviors defined in the official IPv6 Internet standards.
For this reason, full IPv6 support and innovation are foundational aspects of the entire upcoming Network Box version five (NBRS-5) product line.
