One Console for Everything: Introducing NBSIEM+ 2026 Q3
Network Box has released the 2026 Q3 edition of NBSIEM+, a major step toward a unified cloud management experience for security, infrastructure, and service operations. The release brings the Box Office support environment and the Network Box Admin Portal together in one system that is available through a modern web browser and the NBSIEM+ applications for Android and iOS.
The Vision: One Box, One Portal
Network Box customers have traditionally worked across several consoles. Box Office handled support tickets and service administration, the Admin Portal provided on-box configuration, and the HTML5 dashboard presented real-time status.
NBSIEM+ 2026 Q3 begins bringing those capabilities into a single system with one sign-on and one interface. Customers can use the same environment from a browser, phone, or tablet. Live asset integration builds menus and dashboards from the current state of the customer’s assets rather than relying on a static snapshot.
A single Box Office and NBSIEM+ login now provides access to information that was previously split between systems. This includes firewall, web, mail, and other event logs from the Admin Portal alongside Box Office support and inventory management.
AI Integrated Across the Workflow
The Q3 release expands the use of AI throughout NBSIEM+ while keeping human judgment central to security operations.
- Event analysis: SIEM event records can be analyzed by AI to add context, correlation, and a plain-language explanation. This helps analysts understand what happened and why more quickly.
- Incident enrichment: AI-assisted ticket responses can enrich incidents with background information and suggested actions before a human engineer begins work.
- NOVA: The Network Operations Virtual Assistant is currently available to SOC engineers. It can help automate routine operational tasks and support natural-language Live Query requests against customer data. NOVA is intended to support engineering judgment, not replace it.
The objective is to reduce the time engineers spend navigating systems and assembling context so they can devote more time to verification, remediation, and customer communication.
Three User Levels
NBSIEM+ now includes three predefined end-user roles. Existing Box Office customers begin at the default level without losing access.
- General End User: Provides the support and inventory information previously available through Box Office, along with non-private Admin Portal information such as CPU utilization and operating statistics.
- Supervisor: Adds event logs and other private information comparable to Admin Portal visibility. This role is intended for users who investigate incidents and supervise operations.
- Admin: Adds full read and write Admin Portal functionality as those capabilities are released through NBSIEM+. Admin users can make administrative changes in addition to reviewing data.
These predefined roles are only a starting point. Individual rights can be controlled with fine granularity, including read, write, supervisor, and administrator access to specific API calls and related NBSIEM+ screens. Organizations must initially request Supervisor and Admin assignments through their SOC; an assigned Admin can then maintain roles for the organization.
Key Service Highlights
Web Browser and Mobile App
The updated interface includes richer media previews, clickable assets on the asset map, bulk closing for resolved incident tickets, common filters that apply across the screen, and multiple custom date and time range filters.
Backend Infrastructure
The platform now includes more granular access rights, standardized API paths, a public API for scripted access, cache-backed session management, session rate limiting, and audit logging for login, SUID, and logout events. Supervisor workflows and sub-workflows are supported, a new asset-provisioning module manages deployment, and internationalization work is preparing the platform for additional languages.
Unified Communications
NBSIEM+ now supports WhatsApp, LINE, and Signal conversations in beta for selected markets, with general release planned for October 2026. This lets users reach SOC support from familiar mobile messaging applications while retaining conversation history and allowing it to be attached to support tickets.
A Common Front Door for Managed Security
The Q3 2026 release establishes NBSIEM+ as a common front door for Network Box managed security and operations. Whether a user is responding to a ticket from a phone, reviewing an incident in a browser, checking a global asset estate, or administering service settings, the work can take place in the same cloud-based platform.
Role-aware access, richer operating context, public APIs, mobile availability, AI-assisted event analysis, and NOVA provide the foundation for a more connected and understandable security operations experience.
